About our apprenticeships

Bradford is the UK’s youngest city – and we’re determined to provide opportunities for young people from across the district to be part of Bradford 2025, including the chance to start your careers through a variety of Apprenticeship opportunities.

We are delighted to announce the first five apprenticeships across our organisation – with roles across our Programme & Engagement, Audiences and Operations teams. Details of each role can be found below.

We’ll be advertising further apprenticeship opportunities later in spring/summer 2024, alongside 10 paid traineeship roles as part of our forthcoming Young Creatives programme.

All of our apprenticeships are being delivered in partnership with Access Creative College, and have been made possible by the kind support of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.

To be eligible, you must be over 18 and have two or more GCSEs, including English and Maths (or hold equivalent qualifications).

To apply for any of the below roles, please email a CV and covering letter to [email protected] by the relevant deadline.

You’ll be part of the team that is leading on the development and delivery of the artistic and cultural content of Bradford 2025. It will include a huge range of projects, events and activities – from exhibitions and theatre shows to TV and radio broadcasts, food art to large-scale spectacles. We’re working with artists, communities and the local sector to make sure we’re presenting a really enjoyable and exciting programme that’s relevant to Bradford, taking place in different spaces right across the district and stretching right across the year.

As well as working within the Programme team, you’ll be working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Cultural Learning and Participation.

This is a fast-paced and energetic environment, where the team will work together to deliver the best experience for our audience.

As well as working within our Audiences team, you’ll be working towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Multi-Channel Marketing.

Apprentice Operations Assistant – Operations (x 1)

You’ll work on a rota of early and late shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm, and there may be times where you’ll open/close the office. If you like the idea of a varied role, working with a friendly team and are passionate about people, then we think this apprenticeship is for you.
