Pictureville Cinema hosts a season of films exploring the northern female lens – curated by Clio Barnard.

This special season is curated by Clio Barnard, the award-winning West Yorkshire-born artist and filmmaker whose works include BIFA-winning The Arbor, centred on trailblazing Bradford writer Andrea Dunbar, and Ali & Ava, a moving romance set in the city.

Northern Lens: Curated by Clio Barnard (working title) takes place at Pictureville in the newly reopened National Science and Media Museum. Screenings will be complemented by discussions, interviews and other special events – with the full programme to be announced soon.
