Event Details
Date 21 Sep 2025
Times 10am-2:30pm
Location The Beacon – Lister Park
Ages This event is designed for children and their grown ups to enjoy together, so under 18s will need to have a responsible adult with them... and sorry grown ups you'll need a child with you to take part in the fun!

Bradford-based artist Lou Sumray invites you to join her at The Beacon at Lister Park to get creative – inspired by Bradford’s open spaces.

Pick up a pen and make your mark on one of Lou’s six-foot-tall art screens – you provide the inspiration, we’ll provide the pens.

Everyone’s welcome at these family-friendly workshops, admission is free (no need to book), and we’ll provide all the pens, paints and materials you need to get creative. You can also make your own crafty creations to take home.

Lou has been running similar art-making sessions at other parks The Beacon has visited. At the end of the year, we’ll bring together the art screens from all four locations to make one large Beacon artwork!
