Bradford Made
Our learning resources are set to bring the stories of Bradford’s diverse communities into schools across the district.
Bradford Made is our educational resource hub, running throughout 2025 and reaching right across the district. Created with learning specialists, tested in education settings and schools, and fully aligned with the National Curriculum, Bradford Made will offer educators a one-stop online shop for place-based learning resources about Bradford District – all of them free.
Bradford Made will feature:
Activity packs & digital resources
Local Stories for Learners
Bradford 2025 partner resources
Creative skills & careers content
Bradford Made resources will cover every level of education, from early years (under-5s) to lifelong learning. They’re all designed to be accessible, inclusive and adaptable for diverse learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), in alternative provision or in home education.
Bradford Made will help children and young people understand and engage with the history of Bradford, fostering real local pride in place. It will build the knowledge and confidence of educators, showing how Bradford’s heritage can enhance the quality of education at every level of learning. And it will better connect our learning sector with cultural and heritage organisations across the district, establishing strong relationships that will benefit Bradford for years to come.
Bradford Made activity packs and resources will be released on bradford2025.co.uk throughout 2025. Following our year as UK City of Culture, the resources will then be hosted on their own standalone website – ensuring a tangible legacy for the next generation of educators and learners in Bradford.
