Bradford Glow: Activities for ages 7–9
Make art inspired by Bradford’s textile industry in these activities for ages 7–9.
The first activity in this pack is an outdoor activity that encourages children to move, then think about where they live and the things that make them happy.
The second activity explores Bradford’s textiles industry. Children can weave their own piece of art inspired by cloth, which can be kept separate or attached together to make one giant piece of class art. Before starting the activity, you could show your group the Bradford 2025 slides (available with this activity pack) so they know why these colours have been chosen.
