Our Patch
Inviting the people of Bradford to learn skills, make connections and unleash their inner artist with our free community creativity programme.
About Our Patch
Since 2024, we’ve been working with communities and artists across every district of Bradford, delivering over 140 creative projects so far. Together, we’ve helped people learn new skills, make meaningful connections and discover their inner artist through our free community creativity programme.
Our Patch is a major creative programme for the people of Bradford, celebrating over a year of activity and now looking ahead with excitement to what lies beyond 2025. Since launching in 2024, more than 140 creative projects have taken place, bringing people together to learn skills, make connections, and experience the joy of taking part in art.
We continue to invite community groups across the district to join us in shaping Our Patch workshops, activities and events. No previous experience is needed, and everything remains completely free.

Our Patch is led by the Our Patch Producers – inspirational local people who are passionate about arts, communities and Bradford. Working alongside artists, makers, performers and creators, they help spark activity on their patch and bring people together through creativity, with activity continuing beyond 2025.
From painting to poetry, singing to cooking, dancing to drystone walling, Our Patch celebrates the full spectrum of Bradford’s creativity. Activities are shaped with local people and take place in community halls, libraries, faith-led venues and social hubs across the five constituencies: Bradford East, Bradford South, Bradford West, Keighley & Ilkley and Shipley. Together, communities are learning new skills, building confidence and forging meaningful connections through culture.
Public events are listed on our What’s On page – and you can check back regularly to discover what’s been happening in the Stories section of our website.
This is Our Patch: shaped by communities, inspired by Bradford.
