We’re looking for an experienced People Advisor to join us and help to build on the great culture and employee experience we’ve built to date.

Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture is set to deliver more than 1,000 new performances and events, including over 200 artist commissions, a series of major arts festivals, and major national and international collaborations. To achieve our ambitious programme, we need a team of dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic people – and we’re looking for an experienced People Advisor to help shape it.

Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of people-related topics. You’ll attend formal meetings, and you’ll help our line managers be the best people managers they can be. You’ll be passionate about creating an inclusive work environment, where people feel comfortable being their true selves. You’ll understand the benefits of a truly diverse team. And you’ll be focused on solutions – with an appetite for continued improvement.

  • Contract type: Fixed term, to March 2026
  • Salary: Up to £33,000 FTE dependent upon previous experience
  • Hours: 25 hours per week, worked flexibly Monday to Friday, predominantly office based (Bradford city centre location)
  • Annual leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata
  • Pension: Contributory pension scheme with 5% employer contribution
