Educator CPD Opportunity – Creative Writing with Authors Abroad
Development oppurtunity for KS2 and KS3 educators to develop creative writing teaching skills.
- Date: Friday 27 June 2025
- Venue: InCommunities, The Quays, Victoria Street, Shipley, BD17 7BN
- Timings: 9am-3pm
This full day CPD, led by Andy Craven-Griffiths, supports Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 educators to develop their practice in teaching creative writing.
You will join in with and try out various exercises to practice the craft that make all creative writing outcomes better. You will learn the secret to rhyming with anything, ways to create original metaphors, and how to make stories satisfying (no more, ‘then they woke up and it was all a dream’). Plus take away some exercises and games you can use with your own learners.
There is a maximum of 50 spaces on this opportunity. Please see below the running schedule of the day.
