Do Your Thing – Creative Lives micro-awards

Calling all community creatives!

Do you sing, dance, knit, garden, paint, cook, or play music with others in your community? We’ve teamed up with Creative Lives to offer small awards to community organisations as part of Bradford 2025.

This is your opportunity to bring your creativity to life and make a difference in your community. in partnership with Creative Lives, we’re offering £400 micro-awards for local groups to organise creative activities that engage and inspire your community.

What could you do?

• Do something unexpected – a flash mob performance in your local shopping centre, guerrilla gardening on street corners, or poems on park benches
• Make a piece of art responding to the heritage of a local cemetery
• Hold a new Qawwali event in a local community centre
• Create a radio programme or podcast documenting the heritage of a local cricket club

These are just some of the possibilities, we can’t wait to hear your ideas.
