What does the woodland walk involve?

Arrive early and journey through our spooky woodland to find the ruins of Milner Field Manor. The walk will take 10-20 mins and will travel over uneven ground and is sloped in places. We advise wearing sturdy footwear. The route will be lit and staff on hand to help guide your way in the dark.

Why is last entry at 7.40pm?

Please arrive no later than 7.40pm so you have plenty of time to journey through the woods in time for the screening at 8pm.

How long does the film last?

The film will last 1 hour 45 minutes.

Is there a minimum age for the event?

This event is open to ages 16+ only.

Will there be seating?

Yes, folded chairs will be provided.

How will I hear the film's audio?

Everyone will receive a set of headphones upon arrival and instructions for use.

Can I smoke at the venue?

No, this is a smoke free site. You can leave the site to smoke in the designated smoking area.

Getting to Milner Field

Access to the site is via Higher Coach Road, off Primrose Lane.

There will be limited street parking on Primrose Lane.

Food and drink

A bar serving soft and alcoholic drinks and light snacks will be available. You are welcome to bring snacks and cold food onto site (no hot food) but please take all rubbish away with you.

Can I bring alcohol?

You will not be permitted to bring your own alcohol into site and any alcohol you bring will be confiscated but returned to you as you leave.

Can I bring glass containers or bottles?

No glass items are allowed onsite.

Accessibility

Access to the Milner Field ruins where the film will be screened will be via a short walk through a woodland. There will be uneven surfaces throughout and some steep gradients.

The route will be lit and marked. Staff will be on hand to support where needed.

For those who are unable to manage gradients, a more level route through the woods to the screening site is available. This will not include the woodland walk experience. To reserve access via this please email us at [email protected].

The site is not deemed accessible for people with limited mobility or for wheelchair users.

Will the screening have subtitles?

Yes the screening will have subtitles. 

Will there be audio description available?

No, audio description will not be available at this screening.

Will there be toilet facilities? 

Yes, Portaloos will be provided.

Can I bring a dog or pet with me?

Only registered assistance dogs will be allowed onsite.

Preparing for the weather

This screening is taking place on an outdoor site with no shelter from rain. The screening will take place come rain or shine. We suggest bringing a blanket to keep warm and cosy whilst watching the film and waterproofs in the event of rain.

In the unlikely event that weather conditions are extreme and/or present a danger to attendees and staff, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and we may need to refund or reschedule the event.

Can I bring an umbrella?

Yes umbrellas will be permitted, but please be mindful of the sight lines of other audience members.
