Youth Pass: Sip & DRAW! Charcoal Skills
Attendees sipped mocktails, ate cake, and explored the artistic ways you can use charcoal.
Visual artist Lou Sumray introduced attendees to the basics of Charcoal drawing - a simple material that has been used for centuries.
Lou Sumray is an artist that has always had drawing at the heart of the work she makes, whether that is hand drawn stop motion animations, quick sketchbook notes or large scale works on paper.
In 2025, David Hockney invited everyone to have a go at drawing in a nationwide DRAW campaign. In this informal workshop, attendees were invited to draw and get creative in the style of a ‘Sip and Draw’.
All drinks, snacks and materials were provided.
