Youth Pass: DJ Turntablist Workshop

Youth Pass members learnt the art of turntablism with Turn Styles.

A hands on workshop that introduced members to the basic concepts of turntablism - the art of manipulating sounds and creating new music and effects using turntables and mixers.

An informal workshop with Turn-Styles Turntablist Training Academy, that focused on the core skills of scratching, beat juggling and trick mixing, which can be applied to a broad range of musical genres.

Attendees performed a simple turntablist routine by the end of the workshop.
