Get drawing with support from local artists - join one of our free workshops across the district.

David Hockney has invited everyone to have a go at drawing this year. The Our Patch team are bringing the DRAW campaign to people across the district.

All our workshops are FREE. All materials are provided and gentle guidance from an experienced artist is on hand.

Everyone is welcome!

Keighley & Ilkley

MEGA Drawing Box
Keighley Creative are bringing their giant white walled drawing cube to the Beacon. Make your own giant drawing tool and add your mark to a plantscape inspired by the park.

This month’s DRAW tour invites you to explore the world of imaginary landscapes through a hands-on, creative workshop.

Taking inspiration from our featured artist, Kate Jackson – known for her bold use of shape and block colour – local artist Emma Bairstow, will guide participants in experimenting with a range of drawing materials, to create their own unique mixed media landscapes.

This is a free, family-friendly drop-in session suitable for all levels of experience. Come along and be inspired to reimagine the world around you, one shape at a time.
