Nitin Sawhney and Poppy Ajudha headline day two of our music weekender in Cliffe Castle Park.

Together with Serious, we’ve brought together a packed line-up of artists whose music knows no boundaries – from singer-songwriters, poets and soul divas to DJs, producers and big bands who mix afrobeat, drum ’n’ bass, jazz and much more. It’s the perfect soundtrack to a summer Sunday in the park.

On the main stage, we’ll have:

  • Nitin Sawhney, multi-award-winning musician, composer and producer
  • Poppy Ajudha, ace singer-songwriter from South London by way of Saint Lucia
  • Joshua Idehen, spoken word artist, musician and collaborator with the likes of Sons of Kemet
  • Summer Pearl, soul singer and superstar-in-waiting
  • TC & the Groove Family, the mighty Leeds 10-piece blending afrobeat, breakbeat, highlife and hip hop
  • Kenzo Jae, Bradford-born singer and rapper who mixes indie and punk with old school hip hop
  • DJ Lubi, one of the best-known salsa and latin DJs
  • MUSYS, Leeds-based DJ, sound artist and cultural producer born and raised in Amman, Jordan

And over on The Beacon stage, there’ll be sets from:

  • Sarathy Korwar, an indo-jazz pioneer, who celebrates his Indian heritage in a contemporary way
  • Tawiah, acclaimed British alternative-soul singer and songwriter
