STRIKE: Banner-Making and Printmaking Drop-In Workshops

MEK SUMMAT

You joined MEK SUMMAT for a series of creative, drop-in workshops at Lister Mill.

Led by Jenna and Adam (MEK SUMMAT), these hands-on workshops were free and open to all.

These workshops introduced you to banner making, printmaking and visual storytelling rooted in heritage and identity. Together, you created artwork that connected to the spirit of STRIKE.

The workshops lead into the evening’s spectacular projection and sound shows, alongside an exhibition showcasing work developed by community groups in Manningham and schools.

About STRIKE

STRIKE was a celebration of the radical women who made modern Bradford.

This major work used light, sound and projection to explore a landmark moment in the history of Bradford and the modern labour movement – and spotlight the fearless women who made it happen.
