Bradford 2025 and the National Literacy Trust in Bradford are going on tour this year – and we’re starting with a story-sharing journey in Wibsey aboard a very special bus.

The Bradford Stories Bus is a wonderland of storytelling magic – a classic American school bus transformed by the National Literacy Trust in Bradford into an inspiring space for reading, writing and talking about stories. There’ll be books to read, activities to do and fun to have, all aimed at children and young people aged 5-11. Best of all, you don’t need a ticket to ride this bus: you can hop on any time, and it’s all free.

9-10am: Morrisons, Victoria Shopping Centre, Young Street, Bradford BD8 9BN

10:30am-12pm: Howarth Road Playing Fields, BD9 6NJ

12:30am-2pm: Drummond Road, BD8 8DU
