The Beacon – Bowling Park
Pentecost Party
We celebrated Pentecost in Bowling Park with churches from across Bradford.
The churches of Bradford threw a Pentecost Party at The Beacon – and everyone was invited.
Taking place at lunchtime on Pentecost Sunday (Whitsun), this special event showcased and celebrated the many different cultures that exist in the church in Bradford. There were performances from different church groups around the city, including music, song, dance, drama and spoken word. And we were even joined by the Bishop of Bradford, the Right Reverend Toby Howarth.
The party was open to people of all faiths and none.
