A lively exhibition of work by Hanson Academy textile students.

Event Details
Date 19 Sep 2025
Times 4-6:30pm
Location Hanson Academy
Ages All ages
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult

A group of 15 Hanson Academy year 10 textiles students will showcase their dyed textile final pieces in a degree style showcase.

They will be taking part in a three part experience, including information gathering and research, a practical workshop and a reflective showcase – which you’re invited to!

The students will focus on the Victorian ornamental designs and patterns of the era, in line with the city’s main architectural style. Students will experiment with natural dyes and shapes to recreate some of Bradford’s heritage.

The students will curate an exhibition of their textile creations in the museum at Hanson. Their pieces will be displayed with their name and some annotations describing their individual learning journeys.
