Event Details
Date 5 May 2025
Times 10am–3pm
Location The Beacon – Wibsey Park
Ages Suitable for children and families of all ages
Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult

Bradford-based artist Lou Sumray invites you to join her at The Beacon in Wibsey Park to get creative – inspired by Bradford’s open spaces.

Pick up a pen and make your mark on one of Lou’s six-foot-tall art screens – you provide the inspiration, we’ll provide the pens.

You can also decorate your very own cardboard Wibsey goose and take it home after the workshop.

Everyone’s welcome at these family-friendly workshops – come along as a family with a responsible adult. Admission is free (no need to book) and we’ll provide all the pens, paints and materials you need to get creative.

Lou will be running more art-making sessions later in 2025, when The Beacon makes its stops in Bowling Park, Cliffe Castle Park and Lister Park – and at the end of the year, we’ll bring together the art screens from all four locations to make one large Beacon artwork!
