Head to Bradford City Library for another event from Intercultured Festival, aimed at building bridges with communities.

About the project

Come and explore the traditions of  weaving, knitting and crochet. Learn about the traditions of Mehndi, explore  textiles art, crochet and visual arts

Workshops include:

  • Crochet and knitting
  • The Art of Mehndi
  • Textiles
  • Creative and Visual Arts

Children need to be accompanied by an adult. Snacks and drinks available on the day.

About the artist

In its fifth year, Intercultured Festival celebrates the multilayers of cultures and communities that make up our incredible city. Hear and learn from global majority voices, and celebrate Bradford as a creative home for all.

Intercultured Festival is led by experienced Bradford artist and producer, Mussarat Rahman, along with senior producer Charlotte The Magpie.
