Show 7 – One Button Theme.

Join Impact Gamers and the Gaming Guru Grandpa for this FREE family fun interactive game show as they look through games designed by young people from across Bradford for the 2025 City of Culture year.

About the event

Local game-making community group Impact Gamers have been working with children from across Bradford to make brand new games inspired by the city. Each area of Bradford has its own game, which have been playable at specially introduced arcade machines at The Broadway shopping centre.

Head to Pictureville on 7 June for a showcase of these games and an epic participation day, where audience members can test the games for themselves on a cinema screen and compete for prizes. The show will feature:

  • A closer look at how the games were designed
  • Tips and tricks for game creation
  • The story of how Impact Gamers built their arcade machines
  • Audience members battling it out in games on stage and on the big Pictureville screen

This event is perfect for families with young gamers wanting to find our more about games design, or want the chance to play and win prizes on a big stage!

Experience the games before the show at The Broadway at the arcade machine outside HMV, or arrive early at Pictureville on the day from 10:15am.
