The Beacon – Cliffe Castle Park

Cliffe Castle Park 75th Birthday Bash

Starring Statuesque

We celebrated 75 years of Cliffe Castle Park at their birthday bash!

In 2025, a very special place in the hearts of those from Keighley and beyond turned 75 - Cliffe Castle Park.

This milestone gave us the perfect opportunity to do what we do best at the park – come together as a community, smile, and have fun!

Everyone from Haworth to Eastburn, Lawkholme to Bracken Bank, and Oakworth to Ilkley was invited to join us in and around The Beacon for the party of the summer.

We all have roots in our local neighbourhoods, but when we come together, we shine and grow. It’s not every year we get to celebrate the diamond anniversary of a cultural venue, so we shone bright like the diamonds we are.

The day featured live music, a Bollywood dance workshop, games, rubber ducks and more. We even welcomed giant costumed creations from other district greenspaces to join the festivities. These characters – brought to life as part of STATUESQUE – added glamour and panache to the site.

Take a look at what happened at the event.
