Join us at Bradford Live for a professional development day for educators built around shared practice, new ideas and accessible tools you can use the very next day.

Bradford Made Conference is the official launch of Local Stories for Learners – a suite of free activity packs created by Bradford 2025, that unearth Bradford hidden stories that are ready to use across Early Years, Primary, Secondary, SEND, AP and Home Education settings. The conference is a chance to get hands-on with the new resources, connect with peers and explore creative ways to bring local heritage into your learning environment.

Local Stories for Learners in one strand of Bradford Made, Bradford 2025’s online educational resource hub which hosts activity packs and learning resources covering a range of topics for learners from early years to Key Stage 4.

What to expect

  • Hands-on workshops showcasing how to use Bradford Made resources in real-life settings
  • Panels and keynotes exploring heritage, identity and creativity in the curriculum
  • Practical sessions on inclusive pedagogy and tackling difficult subjects
  • A cultural learning marketplace with local partners including museums, archives, artists and education organisations
  • Networking opportunities with peers and cultural educators
