There you’ll be able to learn about the history of Bradford, see the silverware in the Civic Area – and then be blown away by The Real McCoy™ – Black Inventors Travelling Exhibition, an interactive, educational mobile display showcasing some of the world’s most important inventions and many of the everyday items which make our lives simpler, safer, faster and more efficient, all courtesy of talented Black inventors.

This event is part of Heritage Open Days, England’s largest festival of history and culture, and is presented by an organisation involved in Bradford 2025’s Elevate programme, which aims to strengthen, sustain and increase the agility of Bradford’s heritage sector.
