The Beacon – Lister Park

Art and Play Day

Bradford District Museums & Galleries

We had a go at different art techniques at this event for little artists and their grown ups.

Cartwright Hall Art Gallery took over The Beacon in Lister Park with a range of art stations aimed at little artists and their grown ups.

At this event we had a go at object tracing, clay modelling, mark making with paint and natural art. There was also the opportunity to create abstract sculptures made of recycled materials and we recreated David Hockney’s painting swimming pool using collage.

At 11am, there was storytelling about Messy Suzie and Stanley, as well as bubble play outside from midday.
