The Invite is an immersive theatre experience set over one unforgettable night at the pub where six friends gather to celebrate a birthday. Created especially for Bradford 2025, this funny, heartfelt and honest show blurs the lines between reality and fiction as it explores relationships, memories, fears – and what it truly means to be seen.
Blending music, movement and raw storytelling, The Invite is another unmissable show from Bradford’s brilliant theatre pioneers.

Shows are at 7.30pm every evening from 17th – 20th September with a matinee at 2pm on the 20th.
Recommended for anyone over 14, there is BSL interpretation, embedded audio description and creative captions at every performance. There’ll be loud music – live and recorded, and some unexpected loud noises.
The Invite is at The Beacon at Lister Park, which is wheelchair accessible, and there will be a quieter space available.

Tickets cost £10, and there are no designated seats, though if you sit on the front row you might be invited to join in occasionally!
