Part of Our Patch, The Travelling Spoon took the people of Holmewood on a culinary journey around the world. Watch the film to see dishes shared from around the world - and download the recipes.

Local resident Kathryn Reynolds collaborated with Our Patch Creative Practitioner, Natasha Joseph to dream up the Travelling Spoon – a series of cookery workshops to take the people of Holmewood on a culinary journey around the world.

At the end of the project there was a ‘Pot Luck Party’ at the Holme in the Wood Café where everyone’s favourite dishes were shared with the whole community.

A zine full of recipes was also produced, using photographs taken by the people attending the Travelling Spoon sessions. You can download the zine below!

The recipes we cooked told stories of childhood, growing up and home. We invited chefs and community leaders to guide some of the sessions and share their stories and the significance of their chosen recipes.
