About the Artist
Ben Holden is a designer, printmaker and visual artist based in Bradford and for him “everything starts with a pencil and paper”.
This exercise is designed to get you to be bold, brash and expressive on a page. The theme is Birthday and here, Ben is asking you to create a celebration for someone’s 111st birthday or just to celebrate a Tuesday afternoon. This exercise will bring the pop, wow and awe that every party needs!
Inspired by David Hockney, we’re encouraging everyone to get creative and draw in 2025.
Ben encourages you to go with the flow and enjoy the process and to celebrate what comes from giving something a go!
