About the Artist
Jake Attree is a Painter and Fine Artist based in Saltaire and for him drawing “connects me to the world, it’s the way I explain the world to myself, wordlessly. And it’s just deeply pleasurable.”
In this video, Jake Attree encourages you to get out into your local area, a rural environment or city centre and draw from the life you see around you. Don’t worry about it being wrong or not accurate. Perceiver with it and the more you put in, the more you’ll get out!
Inspired by David Hockney, we’re encouraging everyone to get creative and draw in 2025.
