Artist, illustrator and writer Nori Arty shares their tips on how to draw a figure as if they were moving across the page - part of DRAW! supported by David Hockney.

About the Artist

Nori Arty is an artist, illustrator and writer based in Bradford and she loves to use drawing to tell stories inspired by her identity, heritage and fantasy games.

This exercise will help you share moments from stories that have their own dynamism. Nori asks you to find a figure, delve into the shapes that make them move and bring them to life on the page in front of you.

Inspired by David Hockney, we’re encouraging everyone to get creative and DRAW.
