'Draw your favourite thing'

In March, digital artist Jason Wilsher-Mills is inviting us to draw our favourite thing.

“As an artist who grew up just a few miles down the road from Bradford” said Jason, “I feel immensely proud to be made from the same stock as David Hockney and his achievements were a huge source of inspiration to a working-class kid from a council estate.

“I see drawing as the foundation stone on which my whole art practice is built on, inspired by what I see and making sense of the world through line and tone.

“I feel very honoured to be part of such a prestigious and groundbreaking drawing project to celebrate the craft and bring the joy of drawing from Bradford, and share it with the nation.”
