Through the story of the Manningham Mill Strike of 1890-1891, learners will find out all about life in Bradford at the end of the nineteenth century.

Set against a harsh background of poor living conditions and the toil of live in mills, a true tale of working-class solidarity and resistance flourishes, led by Manningham’s radical women.

This pack contains a ready to use presentation, including the story of the strike, accompanying images and suggestions as to how this project can inspire learners to channel their own radical spirit into a series of artworks.
