Request for Proposals: The Beacon – Security Provision

Bradford 2025 is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified supplier of Security Services for The Beacon. The Beacon is our touring venue, visiting four parks in the Bradford District during the Spring and Summer of 2025. The Provider will offer 24-hour security services for a variety of events, including music, comedy, clubs, classes, family activities, neighborhood and community events.

• Brief description – 24-hour security provision, SIA provision for some events, liaison with Local Authority, asset protection, crowd management, key holding.

Criteria for Selection:

• Proven experience of similar works – track record of previous events
• Capacity to deliver within the timeframe – this is critical for this contract
• Local to Bradford/West Yorkshire/Yorkshire.
• Best value for money.
• Alignment with BCC’s procurement objectives.
