Wild Uplands comes to a close on 12 October 2025 and the artwork 99 Butterflies by the artist Meher Asad is looking for new places to land across the district.

We are inviting applications to rehome one of Meher’s beautiful butterflies. Applications may be made by individuals, community groups or organisations.

The butterflies are made from stone (marble) and are available in three different sizes of 2ft, 3ft or 4ft across and each butterfly comes in 2 pieces.

The butterflies can be laid flat on the ground or mounted on a metal bracket that will be provided. You may need to use additional fixings depending on where/how you want to display them.

If you are interested in rehoming one of the butterflies please complete the form on the link below and we will let you know if you have been successful by Friday 10 October 2025.

Butterflies must be collected in person from Penistone Hill main car park, off Moorside Lane, Haworth.

They will be available to collect between Tuesday 14 – Friday 17 October 2025.
