In partnership with Bradford Producing Hub, the British Council and the Bridges Producers Fellowship programme in Kenya, Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture are excited to support an international Bradford – Nairobi Producer Exchange.
This fully funded opportunity will support one producer from Bradford to participate in a hybrid training programme which includes 2x one-week residencies split between Nairobi, Kenya and Bradford, England.
When: August – September 2025
Applicants must be:
- 18 years or over
- From the African Diaspora
- Live in Bradford or have a strong connection to the district
- Actively developing an event, performance, or project in 2025 that they can apply their learning to.
- Work in live arts.
Work in live arts, including but is not limited to music and sound design for live performance, theatre, dance, festivals (including film), immersive experiences, visual arts (with a focus on live or performative elements), arts and culture event or festival producing, and community arts producing with a focus on live experiences.
