Beyond the Spectrum and Bradford2025 are providing free online creative writing sessions for Autistic adults with Bradford District postcodes.

About Beyond the Spectrum
Beyond the Spectrum is a creative writing programme for Autistic and Neurodivergent writers. You don’t need a diagnosis, or any experience, to take part: just an interest in creative writing. Whether you want to write poetry, sci-fi novels, a memoir, or a script, and whether you’re an established writer or not, you’re welcome as part of Beyond the Spectrum. We are creating a community celebrating Autistic creative writing, and Autistic creativity in general. All sessions are free to attend, and delivered on Zoom.
Beyond the Spectrum is led by Writing East Midlands, in partnership with Bradford 2025. The creative writing group for adults will start in April 2025. Sessions will run in the early evening, every two weeks, until the autumn, with a celebration at the end which will be designed by the group – this could be an in-person event, an anthology of work, or something else.
The adult sessions will take place on a Wednesday evening, with Lead Writer, Chris Cambell.
There is no obligation to attend every session, or to have your camera on, or share writing.
