Youth Pass: Turner Prize Preview

Youth Pass members were one of the first to see the Turner Prize 2025 exhibition.

The world’s most exciting visual arts prize came to Bradford for the very first time – and Bradford residents aged 16–25 had the chance to see it before anyone else.

The Turner Prize showcases and celebrates the best in new British art. Each year, four artists are selected to feature in the annual Turner Prize exhibition, which during 2025, took place at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery – and Bradford 2025 Youth Pass holders could see it first at an exclusive free preview event.

You could see paintings, sculpture, photography and other artworks by the four shortlisted artists – Nnena Kalu, Rene Matić, Mohammed Sami and Zadie Xa – ahead of the official opening on Saturday 27 September.

Attendees also received a free Bradford 2025 tote bag filled with sketchpads and painting supplies.
