The Bradford Progress: Undercliffe to The Broadway

The Bradford Progress marched through the streets into the heart of the city.
Day two of The Bradford Progress began with a musical procession through residential streets between Undercliffe Cemetery and the Broadway.
We set off from Undercliffe Cemetery around lunchtime and headed south-west towards The Broadway, with a soundtrack provided by two of Bradford’s musical treasures: the dhol-drum dynamos of Punjabi Roots and the Revolution Show Corps marching band.
This event was part of The Bradford Progress, an unbroken two-day musical journey across Bradford District created by Paraorchestra, artistic director Charles Hazlewood, artist Jeremy Deller and the people of Bradford.
