Across six months of residency in Bradford, playwright Sudha Bhuchar met and interviewed people from every walk of life—from allotment keepers and student nurses to shisha bar workers and community organisers.
These encounters have shaped a new theatrical work, the first iteration of which premieres on 15 November as part of the New Work Festival.
Sudha Bhuchar is Artist-in-Residence at Theatre in the Mill, commissioned by Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
