OUR STORY

Nebula Girls Group

A unique insight into the challenges and strengths of being an autistic girl in today’s world.

Nebula Girls Group is a voluntary community group based in Keighley, West Yorkshire supporting autistic girls and young women.

With over 9 years experience of working with girls, young women and their families, this event highlighted some of the strengths and challenges associated with autism and helped raise awareness of what it’s like to be autistic.

This performance followed the coming of age of a cast of neurodiverse individuals as they are faced with constant misunderstandings from significant people in their lives, from parents to employers but find solace in hobbies, talents and interests they are deeply passionate about. This wasn’t just a story. It was Our Story!
