Northcliffe Arts Takeover

A new Arts Trail in Northcliffe woods, that was created by Our Patch and NEET.

A celebration of a new Arts Trail that launched in Northcliffe Woods. The day hosted a collective of local community organisations in Shipley and the Our Patch team in one of Bradford's most magical woodlands.

This was a day of creativity and connection that included free hands-on workshops, such as leaf mandala making, tree wool weaving, fairy mobile creations, collagraph printmaking, trail mix cooking, inspiring music workshops, and so much more!

This family-friendly celebration was co-created with neurodiverse artists from across Bradford, to showcase the vibrant creativity of local community organisations in and around Shipley, including Skills Kitchen, Mojojack Music, Northcliffe Environmental Enterprises Team (NEET), Summat Creative, and Esholt Hall Gardens, Baildon, Shipley & Saltaire Men’s Shed and it was in partnership with Friends of Northcliffe.

This project is funded by Our Patch

Our Patch was a year-long arts programme across Bradford in 2025, that invited community groups and residents to design and take part in free workshops, activities and events in their local area. Led by local ‘Our Patch Producers’ alongside artists and makers, the project brought people together through creative experiences ranging from painting and poetry to dancing, cooking and gardening. Taking place in community halls, libraries, faith spaces and social hubs across Bradford East, Bradford South, Bradford West, Keighley & Ilkley and Shipley, Our Patch celebrated local culture while helping people learn skills, build confidence and make new connections. This was Our Patch.

Our Patch was funded by The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and The National Lottery Community Fund. We extended our thanks to all players of the National Lottery.
