Laurel Prize Announcement

The announcement of the winner of the 2025 Laurel Prize.

Simon Armitage and judges Kathleen Jamie, Daljit Nagra and Caroline Lucas found out the winner of the Laurel Prize 2025.

The Laurel Prize awards collections of nature and environmental poetry that highlight the climate crisis and raise awareness of global ecological issues.

The winner of the 2025 prize, Katrina Porteous, was announced in this ceremony. The event included readings from the winner and four finalists. The event was hosted by Simon Armitage, and judged by Kathleen Jamie, Daljit Nagra and Caroline Lucas.
