A hanging church installation that was made by the community.
A bright, community-made art installation that filled the ceiling of St Clement's Church.
A Bradford 2025 Community Award.
Members of the Anchor Project, based in St. Clement’s Church, Barkerend, worked with artist Katie Jones to create a hanging installation in the roof space of the Church. This colourful work was made from 100s of paper birds, with each bird containing a piece of paper with words written on it, contributed by a member of the local community.
The official unveiling of the installation will took place in October, with music from Bradford Friendship Choir and light refreshments.
