Acclaimed food writer and broadcaster Grace Dent and restaurateur and author Nisha Katona hosted an engaging discussion at the launch of The Big Tasty Read, a national celebration of food, culture, and storytelling.
This event marked the beginning of a nationwide initiative to inspire reading through the universal appeal of food. It aimed to bring communities together to celebrate diverse stories and shared experiences.
About the Big Tasty Read
The Big Tasty Read was a brand-new nationwide campaign that blended the joy of reading with the love of food. Led by Bradford Council’s Bradford Libraries and delivered as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, the campaign featured an exciting programme of events that took place across the Bradford district and beyond.
