BBC Introducing Live in Bradford

A day of panels, Open Deck and Industry Feedback sessions during Bradford 2025.

As part of the BBC Introducing Live activity in October 2025, the National Science and Media Museum hosted this special event.

This event included a day of panels, Open Deck and Industry Feedback sessions, offering attendees the chance to attend informative panels and receive personal feedback on their music.

The feedback centre was staffed with industry experts and key players in music – professionals eager to lend their ears to new music and provide valuable feedback to help musicians refine their craft.

That’s not all! There were a limited number for slots for attendees to showcase their talent by DJing a 10-15 minute set in the open deck slot.

Since its inception, BBC Introducing has championed unsigned British musicians through the BBC Introducing Uploader, with 24 local radio shows and six national shows on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Asian Network, and 6 Music. Many successful artists, including Ed Sheeran, Raye, Olivia Dean, Sam Fender, and Loyle Carner, began their careers with support from BBC Introducing.

There were panel discussions with tips and advice to help you kickstart your career, earn a living and find your community. We were joined by incredible guests including artists Antony Szmierek and Casey Lowry, Radio 1’s Maia Beth, and Emily Pilbeam from BBC Introducing and 6 Music—plus many more.
