This beautiful walk is in partnership with Canal & River Trust, who care for over 2000 miles of canals and waterways across the country.

Starting in the market town of Bingley, this short walk takes you to one of Canal & Rivers Trust’s Seven Wonders of the Waterways.

Bingley Five Rise Locks has the steepest set of staircase locks on the Leeds & Liverpool, the longest canal in the country! The route passes alongside Bingley North Bog, an important wetland between the canal and Bingley Bypass.
