In your community
From January to December and from the hills to the mills, we made Bradford 2025 the most accessible UK City of Culture yet.
Community tickets
We wanted as many people as possible to enjoy our extraordinary year of culture.
More than 75% of all Bradford 2025 events were free for everyone to attend – and for those that weren’t, we set up a community ticketing scheme, distributing thousands of tickets and travel expenses to individuals and communities who may not normally have the chance to attend cultural events.
The scheme was delivered by our brilliant Bradford 2025 Networkers and the Our Patch community creativity team, working with Bradford Children & Families Trust, Bradford Youth Service, Bradford District & Craven MIND and Healthy Minds.
This is Our Patch
Our Patch is a major creative programme for the people of Bradford.
We’ve been inviting community groups across the district to join a huge series of workshops, classes and activities – no experience needed, and it’s completely free.

Free tickets for people with long-term mental health challenges
