Volunteer with Bradford 2025

We all know that Bradford’s greatest asset is its people. Now it’s time to show the world.

We’re looking for more than 3,500 volunteers to help Bradford 2025 deliver an incredible year as UK City of Culture.

Perhaps you’d like to serve as an ambassador for one of Bradford’s diverse neighbourhoods – from Bingley to Barkerend, Ilkley to Idle, Keighley to Clayton. Perhaps you’re itching to be one of the faces of Bradford 2025, meeting and greeting the public at our events. Or perhaps you’d be happiest helping out behind the scenes.

Whatever your interests, there’s a place for you on our team. By sharing your time, skills and energy, you’ll be playing a crucial part in our year-long celebration. We’ll make sure you get full training for whatever role you do, with the opportunity to undertake everything from Sight Assisted Guidance and First Aid training to an accredited City and Guilds Level 2 Qualification in Customer Service. Furthermore, we’ll cover your travel and food expenses for every shift you attend.

Experience a year like no other from the inside – be part of a passionate community of new friends, and have an all-round brilliant time.

Corporate volunteering

Bradford 2025 is working with Participate Projects to provide volunteering opportunities for local businesses. This is a great way to build teams, develop individuals and make a real difference in your community.

Request volunteers for your event
