Bradford Glow activity packs

Bradford Glow is all about helping children and young people understand more about Bradford 2025, our brand, and our colours. We want to spark their curiosity about the exciting events, performances and projects that are coming to our district in 2025 and help young people across Bradford District feel a sense of pride about where they live.

Some activities have an art or drama focus, while some connect to PHSE or English. All links to the National Curriculum are set out, so you can choose the activities that are best for your class, group, or home learners.

There are activities suitable for Early Years through to Key Stage 3, so we hope young people of all ages can join in, explore where they live, enjoy Bradford’s culture, and create some amazing artwork too.

To help you get the conversation started, we’ve also included Power Point slides with information about why being a UK City of Culture is important, and why our colours were chosen.

We know that teachers are really busy, so whether you use these activity plans now or a few months down the line, we hope they can help you engage your learners in this amazing year of culture in Bradford District.
