Travelling to Bradford by bike
There are cycle routes and bicycle parking across Bradford District and the city centre. For more information about cycling in Bradford, see the Bradford Council website.
Travelling to Bradford by bus
Bradford Interchange is Bradford’s main bus station.
The upper concourse at Bradford Interchange bus station reopened on Sunday 5 January 2025, and many services are now departing from there. For a full list of amended service and other bus travel updates, visit the West Yorkshire Metro website.

Travelling to Bradford by train
Bradford Interchange and Bradford Foster Square railway stations both serve Bradford city centre. There are local services throughout the district to Ilkley, Keighley, Shipley, Saltaire and Bingley stations.
Travelling to Bradford by road
The M606 is the main road route into Bradford city centre, linking up with the M1, A1 and M6 via the M62.
From the south, west or east, the most convenient route is via the M62 and then the M606.
From the north-west, take the A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley.
From the north-east, take the A1 or the A19, then reach Bradford via the A59/A658 south of Harrogate.
The Bradford Clean Air Zone (CAZ) is now live. It aims to deter the most polluting vehicles from entering the CAZ. There are no charges for passenger cars or motorbikes – but please check ahead of your visit, particularly if you drive a motorhome or van. Find out more at the Bradford CAZ website.
Travelling to Bradford by plane
Leeds Bradford Airport is the closest international airport, just seven miles from Bradford.
