Travelling to Bradford by plane
Leeds Bradford Airport is our closest international airport, just seven miles from Bradford.
Travelling to Bradford by train
Bradford Interchange and Bradford Foster Square railway stations both Bradford City Centre.
There are local services throughout the district with Ilkley, Keighley, Shipley, Saltaire and Bingley stations.
Travelling to Bradford by bus
Bradford Interchange is Bradford’s main bus station.
Due to city centre roadwords, the bus station upper concourse at Bradford Interchange remains closed until 5 January 2025. Find out more on the WY Metro website.
Travelling to Bradford by road
The M606 is the main route into Bradford City Centre by road, linking up with the M1, A1 and M6 via the M62.
Arriving from the south, west or east, the most convenient route is the M62 and then M606.
Arriving from the north-west, take the A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley. From the north-east tase the A1 or A19, reach Bradford via the A59/A658 south of Harrogate.
The Bradford Clean Air Zone is now live and aims to deter the most polluting vehicles from entering the zone. There are no charges for passenger cars or motorbikes but please check ahead of your visit, particularly if you drive a motorhome or van. Find out more about the CAZ.
